Abraham Leung
Abraham is the Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellow at the Griffith University. He researches transport and urban planning/geography, travel behaviour, tourism, and sustainable travel, with a focus on the latest developments in Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), micromobility and their applications in tourism.
Dr Leung works closely with industry and government partners under the Transport Academic Partnership (with Queensland Government) and Transport Innovation and Research Hub (with Brisbane City Council). He is also the Associate Editor for the Island Studies Journal (Transport, Planning, Technology, & Tourism track) and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Australasian Transport Research Forum.
He completed his PhD at the Griffith University and recently travelled to Finland as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Jyväskylä. Abraham previously worked as a town planner with the Hong Kong government. He has also won best paper awards at leading tourism journals and conferences.
