Assoc. Prof. Chen Lou
Chen Lou is an Associate Professor in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr Lou’s research focuses on consumer psychology and advertising effects. She has investigated how consumers process information and the mechanisms through which marketing communications affect consumer behavior.
She was awarded the 2021 Mary Alice Shaver Promising Professor Award by the American Academy of Advertising, the 2021 Outstanding Reviewer Award by the Journal of Interactive Advertising, the 2022 Best Article Award in the Journal of Advertising, and the 2019 Best Article Award in the Journal of Interactive Advertising.
She serves as an Associate Editor in the International Journal of Advertising and the Journal of Interactive Advertising.
