Dr. Bob Leung
Bob is a Research Fellow in Microbiology at the Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University.
He was trained in environmental science with a bachelor degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and advanced as an environmental microbiologist with a PhD at Monash University. Reflecting his academic excellence, he was bestowed the prestigious HKUST Academic Achievement Medal and the Monash Mollie Holman Award.
His research passion is to understand how microorganisms in the environment survive under different conditions, and in turns modulate our environments and climate.
