Dr. Henrik Naujoks
Henrik is the head of Bain & Company’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) Financial Services practice.
Dr. Naujoks has more than three decades of management consulting expertise, specialising in addressing complex challenges in the financial services sector. In recent years, his work has concentrated on driving digital and customer-centric transformations, with a particular emphasis on the re-imagination of the insurance industry. His extensive experience has positioned him as a trusted advisor to industry leaders navigating the evolving financial landscape.
Before joining Bain’s Hong Kong office, Dr. Naujoks gained diverse global exposure by working in several of Bain’s international offices, including those in Singapore, Munich, Düsseldorf, Zurich, and Los Angeles. His insights and perspectives have made him a sought-after speaker at financial services industry events. Furthermore, his expertise has been featured in leading publications such as The Financial Times, The Economist, Forbes.com and The Business Times. Dr. Naujoks has also appeared in interviews on prominent media platforms, including CNBC and Bloomberg.
In addition to his client engagements, Dr. Naujoks is committed to social impact initiatives, serving as an advisor to non-profit organizations and social entrepreneurs. In recognition of his leadership, the World Economic Forum named him a Young Global Leader in 2007. His academic background includes a business administration degree from Munich and a doctorate from the University of St. Gallen, where his thesis explored organizational theory and behavior in large enterprises. During his studies, he was awarded a prestigious scholarship by the German National Merit Foundation. Dr. Naujoks’ career began with an apprenticeship in banking before joining Bain in 1993.
