Dr. Jeremy Watson
Jeremy graduated with honors from Melbourne University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. In 1998, he established the Brimbank Vet Clinic, a small animal practice in suburban Melbourne, which was rebuilt in 2011 with cutting-edge environmental design features.
In 2013, Dr. Watson became a member of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, specialising in small animal surgery.
In 2020, he joined Vets for Climate Action to help highlight the important role veterinary teams can play in encouraging climate action. Dr. Watson contributed to the development of the Climate Care Program for Veterinary Practices, and in 2021, Brimbank Vet Clinic became the first Australian clinic to achieve carbon-neutral status on the Australian Government’s Climate Active register. In 2023, Jeremy was appointed Chair of the Vets for Climate Action Climate Care Program Advisory Committee.
