Dr Kelvin Tan
Kelvin Tan is an Associate Professor in Finance at The University of Queensland Business School who has earned a reputation as a researcher and expert in corporate finance.
His work has been published in leading academic and practitioner journals, such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Nature Portfolio’s Scientific Reports.
In recognition of his research contribution, Kelvin has been awarded two Research Excellence Awards and five Best Paper Awards at various prestigious conferences.
Kelvin is also an inspiring teaching instructor and a great research mentor for junior faculty and research students. His contribution to teaching and research mentoring has been recognised with four teaching and research supervision awards.
