Dr. Tony Heynen
Tony leads the award-winning Master of Sustainable Energy program at the University of Queensland, which is educating the next generation of energy leaders for the transition to a Net Zero future.
In addition to coordinating this program, Tony has research interests in the sustainability of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and also examines energy access and its connections to sustainable development.
Tony is a Chartered Professional Engineer with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors in Australia and Asia.
