Dr. Vipul Agarwal
Vipul is a lecturer at the UNSW Sydney School of Chemical Engineering.
His research focuses on polymer composite coatings, foams and waste plastic recycling. The polymer composites emerging from his research have shown promise in a range of applications including biomedical engineering, biosensing and energy storage.
Vipul has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal papers and filed four patents. One of the patents on plastic recycling has been licensed for commercialisation.
He is also a passionate science communicator. He is currently serving as the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) Nyholm Youth Lecturer and regularly features in national science outreach community events.
