Peter Wainman
Peter is a professional entrepreneur with a background in private equity, scientific research and innovation.
He currently serves as Chairman and Co-CEO of Equator Pure Nature (“EPN”), a Thai clean-tech company based in Bangkok, Thailand, which he co-founded with his Thai partner in 2012. EPN produces, markets, and sells natural, hypoallergenic, non-irritation certified household and personal care products under the brand name Pipper Standard® – made from their globally patented pineapple fermentation technology. EPN’s pineapple-based products are broadly available throughout Asia.
Mr. Wainman is a published scientific researcher and an inventor on more than forty patents worldwide, including in USA, Europe, China, India, Thailand and numerous other markets in Asia. He and EPN are the recipients of numerous awards related to the environment, sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility. Mr. Wainman holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. and UC Berkeley.
