Prof. Xiaojing Hao
Xiaojing is a professor in the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at UNSW Sydney and an ARC Future Fellow. Her research focuses on low-cost, high-efficiency thin film solar cells and tandem solar cells, for use in both solar photovoltaic and solar fuel applications.
Xiaojing has published more than 170 peer-reviewed journal papers, including publications in Nature Energy and Nature Photonics.
She was awarded the 2020 Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science: Malcolm McIntosh Prize for Physical Scientist of the Year and the 2021 Australian Academy of Science Pawsey Medal. She was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering in 2022.
