Prof. Helen Wallace
Helen is currently Acting Director of the Centre for Planetary Health and Food Security at Griffith University.
She is a researcher in both agriculture and ecology and has worked closely with tree crop industries in Australia and the Pacific for over 30 years.
She has been instrumental in setting up new industries based on fruits and nuts from the rainforest. Her work has improved the incomes of thousands of smallholder farmers in the Pacific, and improved the sustainability of tree crops in Australia.
