
Dr. Ben Rich
Ben is a Senior Lecturer in history and international relations and is the co-director of the Curtin Extremism Research Network based at Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
His expertise includes Middle East politics; terrorism and political violence; digital and online extremism and the far right and the alt right.
Dr Rich’s research interests are focused on understanding the role of ontological insecurity in fomenting politically extreme views around issues such as gender, race, and public health – most recently the anti-vaccine movement.
He is also a published author in Academia Letters; International Community Law Review and the Middle East Critique.
