Prof. Christine Erbe
Christine is a John Curtin Distinguished Professor in the School of Earth and Planetary Science at Curtin University and the Director of the Centre for Marine Science and Technology.
She holds a Master of Science degree in Physics (University of Dortmund, Germany) and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geophysics (University of British Columbia, Canada).
She has worked in industry (underwater noise consulting), in government (underwater noise research and regulation), and in academia (underwater acoustics and bioacoustics). Christine is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America, and former Chair of the international conference series on The Effects of Noise on Aquatic Life.
