Prof. Michele Burford
Michele is a Professor in the Australian Rivers Institute, Griffith University. She works closely with industry and government to tackle challenging environmental problems relating to marine and freshwater systems. In particular, she studies algal blooms and other water quality issues, such as high nutrient loads, impacting on the health of waterways, and the flow-on human health effects.
