Dr Roberto Aguilera
Roberto Aguilera is an Energy Economist at Curtin University’s Oil and Gas Innovation Centre and associate of Servipetrol Ltd, Canada. He was previously an analyst at the OPEC Secretariat, Austria.
Roberto is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Asia Pacific Regional Technical Advisory Committee, the SPE International Reservoir Advisory Committee, and the scholarship chairperson of SPE Western Australia. He holds PhD and Master’s degrees in energy economics from the Colorado School of Mines.
Roberto is author of The Price of Oil, published by Cambridge University Press, and was previously named the SPE Distinguished Lecturer on the subject of energy prices.
